The Windham Weaponry R16SFST comes with a gas impingement system. Manual safety lever with indicator markings on both sides of receiver. Forged 7075 T6 aircraft aluminum receiver with integral trigger guard and hardcoat black anodized finish. Flat top type upper with Mil-Std 1913 rail and QD sling sockets in lower. Carpenter 158 steel bolt. Medium profile, chrome lined barrel of 4150M chrome moly vanadium 11595E steel with A2 flash suppressor. 1:10 inch right hand twist with 6 lands and grooves. Six position telescoping buttstock with logo. Midwest Industries fifteen inch SS Key Mod free float handguard with rail segment. Hogue beavertail overmolded pistol grip. Optics ready rail; no sights included. Length extended: 38 inches. Length collapsed: 34.1875 inches. Weight: 8 pounds without magazine. One 20 round Magpul magazine. Includes hard plastic case with black web sling and operators manual. Windham Weaponry covers their rifles with a lifetime warranty that is transferrable to subsequent owners.
