Christensen Arms Mesa is based off of the venerable Remington 700 action. Using many of the same features and designs perfected in the Christensen Arms Ridgeline, the Mesa was created as a premium, yet accessible lightweight rifle with a featherlight-contour, stainless steel barrel and a carbon fiber composite stock. Weighing in at only 6.5 pounds (short action) and carrying the Christensen Arms Sub-MOA Guarantee, the Mesa is the perfect rifle to carry deep into the backcountry.

Accuracy is achieved by a using a match grade 22" stainless steel barrel that features a 1:8 twist rate and is threaded 1/2x28. At the heart of the rifle is a 416 stainless steel action which contains a spiral fluted bolt, which is nitride treated. The barreled action is nestled into a Christensen Arms carbon fiber stock. This stock provides a rigid foundation and has an adjustable comb to fit the shooter.

The rifle's burnt bronze Cerakote finish can be found on all steel parts, including the barrel. A release button is located on the side of the receiver and enables easy removal of the bolt for bore inspection and cleaning. The bolt plug doubles as a status indicator and is located at the rear of the bolt. This enables a shooter to visually look down and determine if the striker is cocked.
