Low prices on the Weatherby Series 2 Vanguard Sporter start at Champion Firearms: the Weatherby Series 2 Vanguard shares many of the original Vanguard features, including a very accurate cold hammer forged barrel, a strong forged action, a reliable Sako style extractor, a forged fluted bolt with gas relief ports and a protective bolt shroud. What makes the Weatherby Series 2 Vanguard truely special are the many upgrades from the original Vanguard design.

The Series 2 Vanguard has a unique two-stage match trigger system that is adjustable down to 2.5 pounds. The Weatherby Series 2 Sporter series features a raised comb and Monte Carlo "A" grade Turkish walnut stock. The Sporter stock also has a satin urethane finish, a rosewood forend and fineline diamond point checkering. All Series 2 Sporters have a metal surface that is finished in bead-blasted matte blue. Perhaps the most impressive feature of the new Weatherby Series 2 Vanguard is the .99" 3- shot accuracy guaranty. Finally, the Weatherby Series 2 now includes a three-position safety that allows the rifle to be loaded and unloaded while remaining on "safe".
