Low prices on the Fabrique Nationale FNX 9mm start at Champion Firearms- The new FNX offers all of the features that dedicated handgunners want. The ergonomic polymer frame has a low bore axis for less felt recoil and improved control. The grip panels are checkered and ribbed for comfortable, no-snag carry. Interchangeable backstrap inserts quickly adapt the FNX to your hand size. The profiled stainless steel slide has cocking serrations front and rear, and the 4" hammer-forged stainless steel barrel delivers pinpoint accuracy. Ambidextrous operating controls make the FNX perfect for competition or personal defense. Every FNX is made in the USA.
The FNX is a full-sized fighting pistol and has many features that separate it from the competition. The FNX pistol is capable of being carried cocked and locked, if desired. Or, it is equally capable of being carried with the hammer down for a double-action first shot. The FNX has a multiple strike capability in the trigger mechanism.
The FNX has a well-textured polymer frame and the backstraps are also textured. The trigger guard has ample room for a gloved finger. The magazines are made of steel, with polymer baseplates. The mag wells are slightly funneled for easy insertion of the magazines. Both pistols have Rowell-type hammers and are serrated for easy cocking. De-cocking is accomplished with the safety levers. Up is “on safe”. Pushing down places the trigger in the “fire” mode, and pushing down further de-cocks the hammer.
Using modern manufacturing technologies, the FNX is a polymer-framed pistols that offers selective ergonomic features to meet the rigorous demands of military, law enforcement and self- defense applications. The FNX is 30% lighter than steel construction. Made of rugged, high grade steel, the inserted cradle can be replaced without sacrificing the pistol frame or changing the weapon's serial number.
